If you've never been to the Berkshires and you have a free day you can go on a daycation and see almost all of the highlights the Berkshires have to offer. First stop would be the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA. For $15 you can walk in and see all the Norman Rockwell pieces you have ever wanted to see.
Next stop is the Furnace Brook Winery, where they over free tastings! They have an array of tasty wine and you can taste three different kinds for free. They also have delicious apple cider donuts (my favorite!) and hiking trails. After driking your wine, eating your dounts, and hiking them off you can head over to the Berkshire Botanical Garden and enjoy nature.
Last stop, the Old Heritage Tavern located on Housatonic St. in Lenox, MA. They have delicious drinks, nachos, and mahi mahi.

Arnold Arboretum
Yesterday I went over to the Arnold Arboretum. It's such a wonderful place to visit! I went last night to watch the sunset and it was absolutely amazing! I trekked up Peter's Hill, trying to beat the sunset. The hill is actually a whole lot steeper than it seems, which I found out hustling up the dirt path to the top. Once at the very top, the view was breathtaking-The sun was setting on one side of the hill with a gorgeous view of the city on the other side. I would absolutely recommend making the trip to the Arboretum, it is a great free way to enjoy nature while still staying in the city. Just watch out for bats on the climb down in the dark!
